QuadReal Property Group is seeking a Summer Analyst Intern for their International Asset Management & Development team, based in New York City. This role involves supporting the development and asset management teams by assisting in the oversight of active development projects globally, providing analytical support for various asset types, and gaining exposure to all aspects of the real estate lifecycle with a focus on ground-up development, construction, property operations, and asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and be exposed to all aspects of the real estate lifecycle, focusing on ground up development and construction, as well as property operations, stabilized asset management, business plan, budget implementation, and disposition activities.
  • Assist in review and analysis of project budgeting, scheduling, design specifications, market reports, and operating statements.
  • Develop working knowledge of real estate documents such as development and lease agreements to assist with project tracking.
  • Develop a working knowledge of partnership agreements, development agreements, construction agreements, property management agreements, and other agreements to assist with project tracking and oversight responsibilities.
  • Assist in tracking risks to project delivery against approved underwriting and financial operations against approved budget.
  • Analyze critical path impact of entitlement, design, and schedule changes, and assist in assessing mitigation strategies and alternatives to ensure maximum project returns.
  • Collect and validate construction market, lease-up, performance, and benchmark data from various internal and external sources.
  • Analyze project sustainability, wellness, and smart building specifications against programmatic goals and portfolio wide performance benchmarks.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, construction progress metrics, operating performance measurements, and other KPIs.
  • Work with multiple teams to audit and maintain proprietary databases and reporting dashboards for accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

Required

  • Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Finance and Investment, Construction Management. Pursuing a graduate degree in one of these fields is an asset.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Previous experience in real estate investment, asset management, development, construction oversight, architecture, or engineering.
  • Understanding of real estate fundamentals and project finance along with investment and asset management practices and the full cycle of project planning, design, and execution.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Yardi, ProCore or Bluebeam Revu.

We are actively looking for a Summer Analyst, International Asset Management & Development to join our team in Summer 2025. This position will be based in New York City and will report directly to the Vice President, International Asset Management. This role will support QuadReal's International Development Management and Asset Management teams by assisting in the oversight of active development projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia as well as providing analytical support for multiple asset types.
