Epson is seeking a Project Leader, Systems to support its essential systems landscape, particularly for Service & Support Platforms including SAP CS Service Management. Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in the evaluation and prioritization of proposed systems projects based on cost/benefits, available IS resources, and overall IS objectives

  • Ensures the success of each project by directing system development phases including meeting project objectives within specified cost and time frame parameters and according to defined requirements
  • Communicating task status/issues to IS management
  • Developing project plans by drafting details task schedules and tracking project progress
  • Contributing to the allocation of appropriate personnel and resources to projects
  • Coordinating IS function and user resources
  • Tracking actual versus planned expenses for projects
  • Researching and evaluating the acquisition/development of appropriate software products
  • Participating in the development of success criteria and ensuring that they are met
  • Conducting feasibility analysis
  • Gathering and organizing business/user requirements
  • Being responsible for systems architecture, design, and systems integration as well as other aspects of technical leadership

Qualifications

Required

  • 8 years+ of SAP hands on experience with configuration within CS module
  • 2-3 years’ experience as an SAP Systems Lead managing small to medium sized teams
  • Service management process with in-depth knowledge of in-house repairs, In/Out - warranty exchanges, warranty claims process
  • Must have hands-on SAP implementation experience in multiple Projects with strong knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP, specifically within the CS module
  • Familiar with SAP Notification object, Installed bases and service contracts
  • Overview of SAP Order to Cash process and Procure to pay processes
  • Good understanding of overall integration with Finance and Accounting
  • Preferable in consumer electronics industry
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S. experience)

The Project Leader, SAP-CS will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the development and maintenance of large, complex on-line and batch business information systems. You will oversee solution architecture, technical design, and development for large, complex projects, as well as monitoring and addressing day-to-day system performance, efficiency and availability of production systems within your area of responsibility.Principal Accountabilities
