Provide strong technical expertise in platform architecture, with a strong vision to platform thinking throughout Dish. Oversee the quality of the code and products throughout the entire development lifecycle (DevOps). Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform. Leverage agile methodology concepts for quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering directors to create and maintain a digital roadmap. Coaching and career development for engineering managers and staff.Skills, Experience and RequirementsRequires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science or a closely related field. 5 years of experience in job offered or as Technical Lead or closely related. Also requires 5 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):Leverage Docker, EKS, or AWS to understand how processes, containers, and container schedulers workProduction experience with continuous integration tools like Gitlab or JenkinsProduction experience with Webmethod Java or PythonExpertise in Terraform or CloudformationSalary RangesCompensation: $159,000.00/Year - $159,000.00/Year BenefitsEmployment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, which may include a drug test.Rate of Pay: $159,000.00Benefits information available at careers.dish.com.Apply at careers.dish.com.
