The team drives innovation at scale for millions of consumers around the world across Apple, Android, Smart TVs, game consoles, and the web, with our platforms powering core experiences like personalization, search, messaging and data.As a Senior Software Engineer within the Web Application Experiences team, you will focus on building experiences for our core streaming products, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on Disney+, Hulu, and Star+. To deliver on that, you’ll join a team of collaborative engineers focused on product delivery, while partnering closely with team members across product, design, program management, and engineering organizations.You will serve as a high level technical resource and leader, solving sophisticated technical challenges at scale, while finding opportunities to evolve our products and technologies that power them!ResponsibilitiesCollaborates closely with product and project management to translate requirements into technical specifications and timelines to drive towards solutions.Leads by example to write, maintain, and enforce code quality through test driven development.Contributes to project needs and the evolution of the team's practices; recommending changes in development, coding, maintenance and system standards.Efficiently supports software throughout the lifecycle. Our goal is to create an inclusive workplace for all.The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA and New York City, NY is $142,516 to $191,180 per year, the hiring range in Santa Monica/Burbank/Glendale/L.A., CA and Bristol, CT is $136,038 to $182,490 per year; and the hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $148,994 to $199,870 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
