Cook - Per Diem/Variable Shifts

**Description**

Reporting to the Food Production Manager, this position prepares, seasons and cooks food for hospital patients, employees and visitors. Provides superior patient/customer satisfaction, ensuring the highest quality care and service.

**Required qualifications:**

+ Within 30 days of hire National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

+ California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Experience as a cook in an acute care setting.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
