Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years experience in people management
  • 10+ years in partnership management or business development
  • Deep experience with customers in the education, non-profit, technology, or government sectors
  • Experience interacting with high-level stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust with strategic partners and internally
  • Adept at strategic prioritization
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred

**Position Overview**

The Strategy & Strategic Partnerships team at Autodesk Education Experiences spearheads our education strategy and oversees key partnerships to amplify our impact. We provide the entire Autodesk product portfolio for free to the education community, positioning Autodesk as the trusted partner in Design & Make education. The Autodesk Education team prepares students for future careers and shapes the future of our industries by ensuring students around the world have the necessary learning resources for today's and tomorrow's jobs. This role can be remote, hybrid, or office-based.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Strategic Partnerships for Autodesk Education Experiences, this individual will define and execute our strategic partnerships strategy in the education market. They will manage a team of Strategic Partnerships Managers responsible for relationships across various industries, global regions, and sectors including non-profit, government, and industry.

This individual will align partnership activities (student competitions, curriculum, training, certification, marketing, and events) with Autodesk's go-to-market plans and business objectives, driving real impact for students. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in a budget spreadsheet or rolling up their sleeves to unblock logistical hurdles to partnership success as they will be leading a meeting of industry executives around training the next generation of the workforce.

The Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships will implement a clear partnership vision and then operationalize and scale that model, positioning Autodesk as a global leader in education and workforce development.

**This role can be fully remote.**

**Responsibilities**

+ Manage and mentor a team of Strategic Partnership Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

+ Provide direction, support, and opportunities to team members to enhance their growth

+ Lead the development and implementation of the strategic partnership strategy

+ Ensure partners are accountable for delivering results for students, educators, and our industries

+ Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of partnerships. Provide regular updates on partnership performance to senior leadership

+ Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements to maximize mutual benefits. Create and structure multi-year partnership MOUs and legal agreements

+ Identify new opportunities and potential partners to expand Autodesk's impact in education. Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key educational partners

+ Collaborate with marketing, offerings, field enablement, and government affairs to ensure alignment. Represent Autodesk externally at industry events

+ Manage the partnership budget, ensuring efficient use of funds and maximizing return on investment. Allocate staffing resources effectively

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ 5+ years experiencein people management

+ 10+ years inpartnership managementorbusiness development

+ Deep experience with customers in the education, non-profit, technology, or governmentsectors

+ Experience interacting with high-level stakeholders (i.e.policymakers, industry leaders)direct reports

+ Ability to build trust, externally with our Strategic Partners and internally with direct reports​

+ Adept at strategic prioritization

+ Detail-oriented and highly organized

+ Travel required (up to 30%)

**Salary transparency**

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,600 and $238,700. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
