Billing Specilist

Job Description

A Client of Insight Global is looking to add a Billing Specilist to their team. In this role, 60% of the shift involves submitting accurate insurance claims, maintaining detailed patient records, and independently managing patient orders in the billing system. The remaining 40% focuses on obtaining billing authorizations and providing billing/coding support to insurance carriers. Additional duties include meeting daily goals, adhering to company policies, maintaining a professional demeanor, and being present in the office during standard work hours. Other tasks may be assigned by management as needed.

This role will pay between $19.00/hour and $21.00/hour based on expirence level.

Skills and Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree beneficial

Phone communication skills Previous expirence as a billing specilist

Expirience with Blue Cross Blue Sheild or HMO insurance billing null
