Implement operating policies and procedures across multiple functional areas including customer service, finance, quality control, purchasing, and materials management. Grow the business profitability utilizing advanced financial acumen and sales management process and tools. Apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals by providing valuable business insights to senior management. Interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. Anticipate, recognize, facilitate and coordinate the resolution of cross-functional challenges that may impact organizational success. Translate long-term business strategy into actionable short-term business goals for the organization. Champion Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Identify and develop new business opportunities that are optimized for Cummins, and the understand the region within which the organization operates as well as Cummins' global products and presence. Oversee regional and local sales and product managers and their staffs. Implement operating policies and procedures through Managers. Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability utilizing sales management processes and methods. Work with cross-functional teams and customers to continuously improve customer satisfaction and to understand what the customer will need from Cummins in the future utilizing Voice of the Customer (VOC). Utilize Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis to monitor ongoing market research to understand market trends, potential and product applications in target markets.

\n**RESPONSIBILITIES**

\nPositions require a Master's degree in Finance, Sales or Engineering Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Sales, Product, or Finance Specialist or Analyst, Business or Commercial Strategist or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Sales or Engineering Management, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Sales, Product, or Finance Specialist or Analyst, Business or Commercial Strategist or related position.
