Systems Engineer

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Maryland Heights, Missouri, United States. In this contract role, you will be tasked with managing and troubleshooting the enterprise software delivery infrastructure, client management infrastructure, and client operating system management infrastructure. This is a significant role requiring a high level of technical expertise and an ability to work across different areas of the company.

Responsibilities:

+ Administer Windows network, including monitoring, maintenance, and security.

+ Assist with backup and recovery procedures.

+ Oversee the enterprise application deployment architecture.

+ Implement and manage enterprise remote services and client management technologies.

+ Provide second and third level support to Technicians for client devices and applications.

+ Implement device security architectures using group policies, registry settings, anti-virus, and vendor-provided patches.

+ Deploy patches, software updates, and anti-virus updates to enterprise systems.

+ Perform preventive and remedial maintenance of enterprise components.

+ Assist with the assessment of server and enterprise storage, identifying areas for infrastructure improvement.

+ Monitor infrastructure performance and tune assigned components to ensure maximum performance.

+ Maintain accountability and inventory of infrastructure components.

Requirements

+ Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies

+ Experience with Database management and operation

+ Proficient in using Dell Technologies

+ Experience in Active Directory management

+ Proficiency in Backup Technologies

+ Understanding of Computer Hardware

+ Experience in Configuration Management

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Stack

+ Proficiency in Azure Active Directory Management

+ Familiarity with Windows Intune
