  • Document work activities using CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred) or Associate Degree or Certificate equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in related field and three years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits in both high and low voltage applications.
  • Working knowledge of controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows environment).
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work overtime as required including occasional weekend shift.
  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government export restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents and protected individuals (e.g., certain refugees and asylees)). GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

Preferred

  • J-STD 001 or ISO 2000 soldering certification or equivalent.

  • Experience working with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. _The base hourly pay range for this position is_ $35 -$45 hr _. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% shift differential. ​_
