  • Familiarity with OSHA, DOT regulations, and local, state, and federal requirements
  • Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation
  • Proficiency in using a smart phone or tablet and electronic logging device (ELD)

Preferred

  • Direct store delivery (DSD) experience

**Payrate:**

+ Starts at $28.10 for first three months, then increases to 29.10 until EE reaches 1 year. Then final pay is 30.10.

+ Branch Incentive Plan (BIP) Bonus

**What you need to know about this position:**

+ Possible schedule, but subject to change based on customer demand: Wed - Sat /starting time between 12am to 4am, end between 11am to 3pm (Between 8 to 12 hours per day, 10 hours will be the average)

+ Principal location: West Columbia, South Carolina

+ Delivering to states: Columbia, Augusta, Florence, Hilton Head, Charleston

**What You'll Need as a Driver CDL:**

+ Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.

+ Proficiency in using a smart phone or tablet and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times. Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.

+ Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.

+ General knowledge of vehicle mechanics to communicate problems and perform basic repairs if needed.

+ Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
