Credit Union Loan Processor

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Process and administer credit union loans, determining eligibility and interviewing loan applicants\.
+ Record and document all required information according to credit union policies and procedures\.
+ Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any discrepancies; maintain an up to date list of auto and home owners insurance on all secured loans\.
+ Maintain delinquent loan accounts, working with attorney on delinquent accounts and bankruptcy issues\.

**Job Qualifications**

_Education_

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

_Experience_

+ 3 years \- Teller / Cashier experience

_Skills\\Certifications_

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office \(Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint\)
+ Solid math skills and understanding of financial/accounting theory
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to banking

Previous experience as a loan processor is preferred\.

May function as a teller on an as\-needed basis\.
