BAE Systems is seeking a System Administrator Junior to manage distributed infrastructures and data center operations composed of Windows platforms. Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, or a related discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Five years of cross-platform experience in systems administration
  • Five years of end point troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Three years of Microsoft Server troubleshooting and problem solving experience
  • Three years of experience with remote management tools
  • One year of experience with Supporting Microsoft Office365 services
  • One year of experience with Microsoft Azure GCCH or DoD environments
  • IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoDD 8140.01
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Azure, or Office 365 Administration related certification
  • Secret Clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the past five years

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Microsoft active directory, Domain Name Servers, Cisco operating systems, wide, local, virtual area networks (i.e., VLANs) and virtual servers (e.g., Hyper-V)
  • Operating Systems: Windows 10, Server 2016, and 2019
  • Software: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Veeam Backup, Commvault Backup, McAfee MVision / HBSS, BitLocker, Cisco AnyConnect
  • Hardware: PC and mobility endpoints hardware
  • Experience applying DISASTIGs
  • Tenable.io or ACAS experience
  • VoIP / SIP SBC configuration
  • Apple iPhone experience

**Job Description**

BAE Systems is actively seeking a qualified candidate for a system administration role. A successful candidate will have strong experience managing distributed infrastructures and data center operations composed of Windows platforms, and ability to plan, configure, install, and optimize information technology (IT) infrastructures to optimize performance and maintain high service availability. This role will also require responsibility for maintaining critical components composing the IT architecture(e.g., servers, computers, printers, and mobility endpoints; creating and deploying Windows images for laptops; building hardware and Azure virtual machines from scratch to run Windows; managing application patches, data back up, security changes, and network configurations).

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

- Typically a Bachelor's or Associates degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required(Bachelor's degree preferred).

- Five (5) years of cross-platform experience in systems administration including analyzing, installing and maintaining hardware, software, peripherals, and networks

- Five (5) years of end point (i.e. client and mobile) troubleshooting and problem solving

- Three (3) years of Microsoft Server (i.e. Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) troubleshooting and problem solving experience

- Three (3) years of experience with remote management tools

- One (1) years of experience with Supporting Microsoft Office365 services

- One (1) years of experience with Microsoft Azure GCCH or DoD environments

-IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoDD 8140.01"CyberspaceWorkforceManagement" (or achieve within six months of TOA)

-Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Azure, or Office 365 Administration related certification

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $61820 - $105050

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
