One of Medix's insurance clients is hiring for a remote Infrastructure Project Manager. It is a long term contract.

Position Info - Day to day responsibilities/understanding of the project this person is being hired on to do

• They have acquired a ton of practices (about 10 at this point) - they have missed migrations on these - over a short period of time and they all have a unique infra and network set up - some are servers that run in someone’s garage without running on a network - they need to make sure they have firewalls and that everything from a networking standpoint is configured properly
• They have not been able to do that in a timely manner, they are migrating these practices on their enterprise solution and now they need the infrastructure and network in place in order to do that successfully

Challenges:

• They do not have a source of proof of infra for all the practices - They are doing new discovery to unravel the pieces as they scope out some of the project
• There are circuits with a ton of different vendors and they don’t own everything all of the time
• Working with an unorganized and scattered team
• They can’t get circuits up in time for deployment and it is taking up quite a bit of time
• They need to make sure that everything aligns
• They need someone to step into the role with networking resources and some may not have the skillset to get the job done (the PM will not go onsite) - they need to be able to understand what kind of components are their so that networking is not a show stopper for them

3-5 Must-Have Skills/Qualifications (what’s the minimum requirement our candidate should have?)

• Senior Level Project Manager
• 7+ years of experience with Infrastructure Project Management experience
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Telecom experience is a plus
• Data center consolidations and migrations
• Making sure circuits are put together
• Understanding cloud storage
• They will be tied to larger initiatives (stabilization work effort - ability to stabilize the enterprise solution) - some of these will be net new projects and some will be mid project
• Major practices (over 1 million studies with several patient locations (10-15 of these))
• Call center migration experience (plus)

Technologies/Tools:

• ServiceNow is main PM tool (lots of documentations in sharepoint)
• Use Smart sheets for tracking purposes
