  • Supports team in preparation for major milestone meetings including Sketch Review, First Design Review (FDR) and Market Presentations.
  • Communicates sample arrival timelines and alerts the team of any late or pending items. Manage sample coordination and organization for the design team.
  • Attends weekly Design team & PD team meetings

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Exceptional communication, time management & organizational skills
  • Knowledge of materials, patterns, and techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take creative direction
  • Attention to detail and a passion for fashion design
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Illustrator and PhotoShop; strong sketching and illustration skills
  • Strong understanding of full cycle of design development process from concept to commercialization
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience designing and developing handbags/accessories
  • Understanding of Clare V. brand aesthetic and lifestyle

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Designer at Clare V.'s Studio in Los Angeles, CA.
