As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's computer systems and network infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system engineers, and IT support staff, to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and support.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Unix) and server administration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience in managing and securing network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
