Full Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the public transportation space is looking to hire a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their team on the 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm CST, M-F). This person will join a team that works on a variety of vehicles, including transit buses, coach buses, cut-away buses, minivans, trucks, and trailers. They'll have the opportunity to work on diesel, gas, and a growing number of electric vehicles as well. Day to day responsibilities will revolve around performing preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on the vehicle fleet resulting in vehicles that are safe to operate. This candidate would be able to qualify for either a Tech A or Tech B level position depending on years of experience and knowledge of the industry.
This client is an award-winning public transit agency located in Eden Prairie, MN, a nationally-ranked suburb of Minneapolis. This role is permanent and on-site, and we are looking to pay anywhere between $50,000-$70,000 base salary depending on experience and qualifications. There is also a $3/hr shift deferential that will be added on top of the base pay.
