As a Kitchen Technician at MGM Springfield, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of kitchen refrigeration racks and systems, as well as a variety of other kitchen equipment. Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance and repairs of large & small kitchen equipment.
  • Repairs of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. gas line hook up, filter maintenance, equipment parts replacement, etc.
  • Maintains the kitchen shop and par levels for all parts associated with the specific equipment that is located throughout the property
  • Maintains the Pollution Control Units and hood systems
  • Escorts the hood/PCU cleaning company on a monthly basis and keep track of records
  • Ensures that new equipment is hooked up according to the specifications and/or architectural plans
  • Performs routine maintenance to all kitchen equipment as a part of a zone maintenance program
  • Work with HotSOS or equivalent work order system to track and memorialize all repairs, etc.
  • Provides updates to management on the condition of equipment
  • Performs maintenance of all refrigeration rack units throughout the facility
  • Performs maintenance and repairs of refrigeration units, dish washers and ice machines.
  • Maintains operation, maintenance, and repair of all beverage conduit, F&B specific lighting, CO2 monitors, walk-in coolers, etc.
  • Performs maintenance and repairs of pumps and pressurized water systems
  • Replaces gaskets and seals on a regular basis
  • Performs additional job duties as determined by management

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least five (5) years of experience working as a commercial kitchen technician
  • Universal CFC
  • Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms
  • At least 21 years old

The Job

It is the responsibility of the Kitchen Technician; you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of kitchen refrigeration racks and systems. STARTING PAY: $35.45 per hour

The Day-to-day
