  • Manage relationships with internal resources and provide training for in-house employees.
  • Own the development and maintenance of key performance indicators and track progress on the implementation of the training strategy and curriculum.
  • Conduct on-going needs analysis through feedback and field assistance to identify trends and initiatives requiring learning support.
  • Partner with sales leadership in facilitation of Product Training and/or Certification.
  • Act as a "change agent" to drive field associates' transformation and ensure training content addresses evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of Pharmaceutical or Life Science experience
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and follow up skills
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication (written & oral) skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred

  • Successful sales experience
  • Field sales training experience

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager, Sales Training will work closely with other members of the Training team and cross-functionally with various commercial team members to develop and implement learning initiatives that meet the strategic needs and goals of the commercial organization. This role will be accountable for developing, managing, and delivering all training initiatives assigned. They will be directly involved in the administration and coordination of training activities, as well as coaching and providing support to new field sales specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, develop, and implement effective training solutions as appropriate to ensure all field associates are properly trained and certified on promoted products and initiatives as deployed
  • Create and implement employee development programs to support corporate business objectives
  • Partner with the commercial team and all key business functions (Sales, Marketing, HR, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance etc.) to ensure cross-functional input is integrated and aligned in the strategy, tactics, and investments of the plan
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Marketing to develop and pull-through training strategy in the field using a variety of tactics (Train the Trainers, Peer-based Teaching, implementation guides) and technologies to ensure consistent delivery of the core curriculum
  • Manage relationships with internal resources and provide training for in-house employees as directed
  • Own the development and maintenance of key performance indicators, tracking/reporting progress on the implementation of the training strategy and curriculum
  • Conduct on-going needs analysis through the collection of feedback, and through working in the field to assist in identifying trends and initiatives that require learning support
  • Partner with sales leadership in facilitation of Product Training and/or Certification and ensure field associates maintain annual product certification on the Collegium Portfolio
  • Act as a "change agent" to help drive field associates' transformation and ensure training content, processes, and methods address evolving business and development needs

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required

Pay Range

$116,576-$134,072 USD
