The Mid-Market Sales Manager at Altium is responsible for leading a team of inside sales representatives to achieve all business objectives and market growth plans. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of inside sales representatives to meet all Altium business objectives and market growth plans.
  • Fully leverage data-driven systems and processes in pursuit of these goals.
  • Drive Altium Subscription and Altium 365 by helping customers discover the full value of long-term subscription commitments, auto renewals, permanent customers, and Altium brand loyalty.
  • Provide detailed, accurate weekly forecasts to senior management; analyze sales to take corrective action when needed.
  • Optimize regional and territory-based goals as part of the company sales plan.
  • Develop automated systems and processes that provide easy access to additional Altium products and services in collaboration with senior sales management.
  • Recruit and develop a motivated, results-oriented sales team, and provide the coaching and training to support their success and retention.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitive products and services.
  • Build influential, productive relationships with Marketing, Sales Ops, Business Intel and other internal teams to develop and achieve company targets.

Qualifications

Required

  • Self-directed, resourceful, highly driven professional.
  • Demonstrated record of using sales systems to exceed targets.
  • College degree or relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of sales leadership preferred.
  • Experience working directly with sales operations and other business units.
  • Able to operate in a high-volume transactional sales model.
  • Salesforce expertise; can interpret, analyze, review and comment in detail on the Salesforce Wave dashboards.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn Marketo, SFDC Analytics Studio and other data systems.
  • History of directly leading sales teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel 20% of the time.
