  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), or NCBC – Breast Patient Navigator Certification upon hire
  • Current ONS chemotherapy administration card upon hire
  • Five or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care setting
  • 3 years of experience in oncology nursing

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Nursing

The Nurse Navigator in Infusion serves as a clinical expert coordinating and administering patient care treatment regimens, research components and program outreach for patients diagnosed with cancer. The Navigator will assist patients and their families in managing through the vast array of services and programs offered by the hospital and the community to meet their health and wellness needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
  • upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • upon hire: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), or NCBC – Breast Patient Navigator Certification (or successful completion of one of these certifications within 1 year of hire)
  • upon hire: Current ONS chemotherapy administration card.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care setting.
  • 3 years Three (3) or more years of experience in oncology nursing.
