**General Production Workers Needed in Rockford ASAP**

**Job Description**

As a General Production Worker, you will be a versatile 'utility person' supporting operators and other production associates in maintaining quality and production standards. Your tasks will include loading steel bars on packaging machines, operating machines, wrapping steel with bands, attaching shipping labels, cutting steel to customer-specific requirements, and monitoring operation. Positions such as Forklift, Machine Operating, and Crane Operating may be available. This role requires a high attention to detail and the ability to adapt to various tasks throughout the day.

**Job Type**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Rockford, Illinois.

**Work Environment**

Shifts vary with possible start times +/- 1 hour. 1st Shift: 6am-4pm Monday-Friday (can start as early as 5am or as late as 7am). 2nd Shift: 4pm-2am, typically 10-12 hour shifts. 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am (can start as early at 9pm or as late as 11pm). Work environment is not climate controlled, spanning a large campus with multiple buildings. Steel-toe shoes, jeans, and appropriate shirts depending on weather are required as dress attire.
