**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**

**Job Description**

This is a mechanical/electrical maintenance position. You will troubleshoot and repair issues that arise in the plant. You will work on machines and equipment such as baggers, fillers, packagers, photo eyes, sensors, and more. Many machines have hydraulic or pneumatic controlled parts essential for proper operation. The facility's equipment is highly automated and runs on PLC systems, primarily Allen Bradley or Siemens. You will also address small-scale issues with conveyors that move products within the facility.

You can expect to work with VFDs (variable frequency drives) and 480-volt systems regularly, including un-wiring and re-wiring equipment. You will frequently troubleshoot and repair motors, proximity switches, photo eyes, and other components. The ability to open and troubleshoot electrical panels is necessary. Although you won't be creating or modifying PLC programs, recognizing when a programming issue exists will be beneficial.
