As a Workday Release Manager at Lineage Logistics, you will be at the forefront of IT Service Management Global Operations, responsible for IT support solutions delivery, support process improvements, and managing across vendors, partners, and internal customers.   • Ensuring that the right type and number of resources that are required to fulfill the planned projects are available and in place
  • Project demand from intake, discovery, planning, scheduling, staffing, and development to production deployment
  • Understanding the pipeline of demand and work with the team to ensure timely project completion
  • Financial management and reporting and optimizing processes
  • Juggling multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way
  • Continuous, and effective communications with team members, IT, and stakeholders to set expectations and negotiate priorities appropriately via formal and informal channels/mechanisms
  • Continuously improving the technical delivery model and strategy, implementing and managing delivery with the associated teams
  • Manage all projects (small, large), track issues, and closure associated with the portfolio of responsibility

Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in computer science / or related business program
  • 7+ years' experience working in IT service delivery/ project management role in a fast-paced, high-demand work environment
  • Considerable experience in a customer facing IT role managing schedules and resources and costs
  • Proven delivery excellence ideally using Agile or similar project methods
  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for building high performing teams

Preferred

  • Project Management certification

Full Job Description

In this role you'll be at the forefront of the IT Service Management Global Operations. You'll be responsible for IT support solutions delivery, support process improvements, and managing across vendors, partners, and internal customers.

Location: Remote (US Eastern Time preferred, as this individual will be working with global resources)

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Leading a team resources to enable technology resources to deliver projects in time and within budget for the domain and geography for which they have responsibility

+ Working with the Business operations and IT Leadership to understand business strategy and direction and propose solutions that address business needs and challenges.

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on the performance of the service delivery

+ Know the status of projects in his/her span of control and any key issues that may impact scope or budget

+ Synthesize and communicate project and business issues on an on-going basis, manage the group's awareness of major business and IT issues, and help to prevent escalations, where possible

+ Good business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners

+ Strong customer orientation and able to manage customer expectations

+ Good executive presence

+ Strong collaboration skills to build teams across business boundaries

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)**

+ Degree in computer science / or related business program
