Procurement Specialist

Description

We are hiring a contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in the software industry. Our client is located in Minneapolis, MN, but this will be a 100% remote position so they are open to anyone in the United States (ideal hours are CST or PST). As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing procurement processes, ensuring procurement requests are fulfilled and maintaining compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee procurement processes

- Work with various software including Microsoft Excel, About Time, SAS, Coupa, JIRA, and Oracle Procurement to carry out procurement duties

- Ensure procurement requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently

- Maintain procurement policies and ensure compliance with these policies

- Use ERP Solutions to manage procurement functions and process

- Handle procurement documentation and invoices accurately and efficiently

- Provide excellent customer service when handling procurement inquiries

- Utilize your skills in Management Systems to manage and oversee procurement processes

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role within the high-tech engineering industry

- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP solutions

- Knowledge of management systems

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and About Time software

- Understanding of compliance issues related to procurement

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to manage documentation and invoices effectively

- Experience in using SAS, Coupa, JIRA, and Oracle Procurement software

- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, functions, and policies

- Ability to handle procurement requests effectively

- Proven expertise as a procurement specialist
