Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our team, primarily focusing on various accounting functions within our organization. This role is based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable

- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data

- Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software for efficient accounting operations

- Oversee the processing and recording of company's financial transactions

- Handle billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements

- Maintain and manage all financial records in compliance with company's policies

- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and systems

- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to accounting functions. Requirements - Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

- Profound knowledge of accounting functions and principles

- Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Ability to perform auditing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

- Experience in handling billing functions effectively

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data

- Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

- Professional certification, such as CPA, is a plus

- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

- Strong ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings.
