Job Description

We are seeking a Scientist to provide critical support within the Method Transfer and Development Group of a major biopharmaceutical company. This role involves working on site with flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities focusing on vaccines intermediates and drug substance, and gene therapy drug substance and drug product. The candidate will be responsible for transferring and validating methods for various vaccine drug products, primarily involving HPLC and various methods for plate based assays. This position requires testing experience, report writing, and cross-functional interaction with other groups and sites.

Hard Skills

+ HPLC/UPLC and chromatography experience (+5 years)

+ ELISA experience

+ Experience in cell based or plate based assays

+ Experience in a GMP Pharma environment (+2 years)

Soft Skills

+ Ability to work in a team

+ Project management skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in greater Raleigh, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This is a large pharmaceutical manufacturing organization focused on vaccine and gene therapy manufacturing. The working schedule is 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with some overtime and occasional weekend work.
