- Maintains and stocks adequate inventories of departmental supplies, equipment, apparatus, etc., maintains inventory control system and orders supplies/equipment, as required.
- May perform preventive maintenance activities and/or minor repairs on respiratory therapy equipment.
- May examine emergency units throughout facility to assure proper functioning of manual resuscitators, and related equipment.
- Transports compressed gas cylinders to laboratories and patient areas, as required.
- Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of equipment including but not limited to IPPB devices, aerosol and humidity producing devices, monitoring spirometers, oxygen analyzers, etc.
- Must be able to transport heavy cylinders of gas.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

Job Responsibility
