  • Provide information to students, parents/guardians, faculty, and staff about health services offered, and how to access care.
  • Answer questions regarding charges related to CHWB services.
  • Support in management and maintenance of online appointment scheduling.
  • Promote an inclusive environment for students and staff of all races, ethnicities, religious, national origins, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and ages.
  • Support the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Vermont.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree in a specific or related field.
  • Two years of administrative office support experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records preferred.
  • Ability to organize work priorities, plan, and adhere to structured regulations.
  • Ability to communicate interpersonally and sensitively to human concerns.
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards, maintain a high level of discretion.

The CHWB Front Desk Assistant (FD)/Patient Services Representative ( PSR ) is the first point of contact for students seeking services and access to care at UVM . The CHWB FD/ PSR role is critical to provide a welcoming first point of contact for students. The CHWB FD/ PSR role schedules appointments and provides information to students, staff, and various university departments, both on the telephone and in person. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Desirable Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range $22-$27/hour

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Background Check required for this position
