Summary You will serve as the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR in the Northwest Regional Maintenance Center Code 101B of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the NWRMC workforce through subordinate supervisors and staff. You will develop goals and objectives that are assigned to subordinates based on priorities and considering the experience required and the capabilities of the assigned employees. You will advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. You will communicate and engage with stakeholders (NAVSEA, COMPACFLT, Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Centers (CNRMC), etc.) at the senior SES/Flag and GS-15/0-6 level. You will execute complex, politically sensitive, and difficult policy changes, directives, and investigations required for managing the organization. You will develop, coordinate, and present the regulatory and technical implications of present and proposed actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Investigating, analyzing, planning, and implementing corrective action for non-nuclear ship systems or equipment to resolve controversial issues (e.g., engineering, maintenance, procurement, logistics, financial) through the development and proposal of suitable alternatives for future policy and program efficiency.
