Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in merchandising, marketing, or planning
  • 1 year of merchandise planning or buying experience required, 2-3 years preferred
  • Home products experience is a plus
  • Buying experience is a plus
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented
  • Strong analytical acumen to identify opportunities and resolve business performance issues
  • Knowledge of retail metrics
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments
  • Proactive attitude, flexible, and ability to multitask

Mayzon is recruiting for a Merchandiser role.


Mayzon is a leading supplier of bathroom and household products such as decorative storage containers and baskets, shower curtains and rods, slipcovers, medicine cabinets and more. Our products are offered in most major retail stores in the United States and Canada.


This position is based out of the New York, NY office. This position will work a hybrid schedule and will be expected to be in the office 3-4 days per week.

$65,000/yr - $80,000/yr


What we are looking for:

This ideal candidate will assist the Vice President of Sales and will primarily work with our monthly assortment plan. The candidate would have a solid planner background, good with various types of data and have a merchandising background. Lastly, we are looking for someone who is experienced in working with large accounts and excels at cross-team collaboration. This position is hybrid, with 3-4 days in office.
