  • Oversees facility preparations and equipment installations
  • Provides critical on-site support for equipment installation including equipment troubleshooting and operator & maintenance trainings
  • Maintain client relationships contributing to an effective, positive customer experience throughout the project
  • Mentor and develop the electrical Engineering team to provide the best customer experience through communication and technical skills
  • Prepare electrical or mechanical subcontractor scope of work documents and participate in relevant meetings
  • Attend both internal and external project meetings
  • Responsible for Quality Plan items including PLC, HMI, Electrical, and FAT/SAT Reviews
  • Assist with project work as necessary
  • Assist Business Development in defining a technical solution that meets the requirements of the customers’ RFP, RFQ or SOW
  • Develop Proof of Concepts in collaboration with Business Development Team
  • Identify qualifying questions and improvements in metrics and processes for estimating
  • Support Business Development and Engineering on client calls
  • Lead electrical design reviews and technical presentations

Qualifications

Required

  • Working knowledge of control systems including PLC, HMI, Motion and SCADA
  • General understanding of industrial electrical controls equipment
  • Proven success in managing projects from start to finish
  • Ability to condense complex technical information into a clear message
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and working with minimal supervision while meeting critical deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in practice
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance

Full Job Description

MartinCSI is looking for a Project Engineer with strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. A Project Engineer in this fast-paced environment must be an automation expert, able to leverage their technical knowledge and management skills to complete projects on schedule and within budget. Project Engineers must be comfortable communicating changes to the project plan, schedule and project progress to the Principal in Charge. This position is based out of MartinCSI’s office and can require up to 40% travel.


Responsibilities:

80% of time will be working on managing projects:
