  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of employment date

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Previous outpatient experience

SUMMARY OF POSITION\n \n \n :\n \n

\n Responsible for providing assistance with various health care services, for obtaining specimens, for conducting routine lab studies of specimens, and for assisting with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and phone messages. Serve as a trained preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and for instruction of medical assistant students.\n

\n This position requires a work schedule of seven days every two weeks:\n - 5 weekdays 8:30am-8:30pm (including every other Friday to accompany the weekend)\n - Every other weekend 7:30-6:30pm\n

\n \n \n MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):\n \n \n

\n High School diploma or equivalent required\n

\n
