Front Range Roofing Systems, LLC was established in 1987 in Greeley, Colorado. Our company performs all facets of commercial and industrial roofing including new construction and recover projects. We take pride in our company’s repair and tenant finish services. Experienced technicians handle all types of roofing repairs and tenant finish projects. Our dedicated service team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. Front Range Roofing Systems, LLC is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We have a history of dependability, integrity, and profitability.


Position Summary

This is a hands-on, full-time position. The operations manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned restoration and reconstruction projects including but not limited to material procurement, budgeting, and quality assistance. The operations manager is also responsible for working closely with occupants and property owners throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. We are looking for an individual who is passionate, has a meticulous eye for detail, and is prideful in their work.


Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities


Pre-Construction

  • Visit job sites before pre-job meetings. Understand and review field folders, provided project information, and equipment lists
  • Attend pre-Job meetings
  • Review post-meeting job specific information with Project Managers and make any corrections
  • Review materials required for jobs and provide sheet counts and/or cut lists for PMs
  • Coordinate field manpower - assign appropriate number of men for each project
  • Coordinate and communicate with Subcontractors.


Construction

  • Monitor production and assure project completion dates are being met
  • Review work being performed in the field daily to ensure high level quality and safety standards
  • Ensure all field personnel have the tools and equipment necessary to perform their jobs
  • Responsible for all production crews field personnel including hiring, terminating, goal setting, training, and performance reviews.
  • On-site inventory management and communication
  • Capable of creating Change Orders with unit and material breakdowns
  • Able to understand quantities for project materials and labor to meet or exceed project budget
  • Capable of conducting weekly job meetings (e.g., subcontractors, vendors, on-site management, employees)
  • Generate and submit all incident reports related to field personnel
  • Assure all foremen are following and using proper safety protocol
  • Verify roofing foremen hours daily for payroll
  • Update PMs on any project schedule changes
  • Work through onsite changes with owners and general contractors
  • Attend Manufacturer inspection walks. Assure corrective action is made to items that are deficient to the manufacturer
  • Attend Municipal inspection walks
  • Complete quality control checklist when onsite to assure roofing materials are correct and being installed correctly
  • Upload photos of project progress daily


Safety

  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being used
  • Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Hazard Communication (Haz-Com) on-site always
  • Any Job Specific Safety Training
  • Instill proper use of hand tools
  • Instill proper use of all Hazardous Materials
  • Distribute and log all Safety Equipment
  • Enforce Company Safety Policy
  1. Assist with other duties as assigned


Required Meetings to Attend

  • Foreman’s Monthly Meetings
  • Monthly Check-ins with VP of Operations
  • Weekly Operations Meetings
  • Schedule/Ops and Sales Meetings


Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Field leadership experience required.


Experience

5+ years Commercial Roofing Superintendent or Foreman experience with all types of flat and metal commercial roofing systems required.

Knowledge of DataForma required


Specialized Skills

Work Hours:

Work Hours

5:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hours vary and are dependent on business needs.

40 Hour Work Week

Monday through Friday, hours may vary with the workload.
