Reporting to the Section Leader, Mammography/Sonography, the Diagnostic Sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. - Ultrasound scanning skills in vascular, OBGYN, abdominal and small parts required.
- Ability to understand oral and written medical/radiological/sonographic terminology.
- Comprehension of cross-sectional anatomy and correlation with anatomical structures.
- Ability to identify pathological processes.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a sonographer.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an educational program that meets eligibility for ARDMS registry.
Experience
Previous experience as a sonographer strongly preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
