Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for both salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements
  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes, including automating workflows and improving data accuracy
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal teams, including Finance, Accounting and HR, to provide insights and recommendations
  • Oversee deductions, benefits administration and any payroll-related changes for employees (e.g., bonuses, commissions, etc.)
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues and answering employee questions with professionalism and accuracy
  • Prepare for and manage audits related to payroll, taxes and benefits

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field
  • 3+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) and Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
