  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed sponsorship proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Work towards annual and quarterly event sales goal metrics
  • Track and report on sponsorship sales performance and key metrics.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in event sponsorship sales, ideally in B2B events
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Workweek is seeking an Event Sponsorship Manager to drive sponsorship strategy, secure new opportunities, and maximize revenue for our events. You'll identify and prospect potential sponsors, create tailored packages, and manage relationships throughout the event cycle to ensure satisfaction and retention. Collaborating with our brand partnerships and production teams, you'll align sponsorship efforts with business objectives, oversee proposals and contracts, and track the performance of our event sponsorships. With strong communication and negotiation skills, you'll play a critical role in maintaining sponsor relationships and driving the success of our events business. You'll report to the Director of Brand Partnerships.
