The Procurement Manager at Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) is responsible for leading the organization's efforts in sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendor relationships.   • Forecast and manage inventory needs and lead times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement requirements.
  • Manage the procurement budget to control costs and optimize expenditure.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, including spending analysis and cost projections.
  • Streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and manage procurement software and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement policies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of procurement software and supply chain management tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Highly organized, process and detail oriented
  • High level of dedication to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing work environment and deliver on challenging demands
  • Interpersonal skills - ability to maintain confidentiality, listens to others and willing to try new ideas
  • Excellent critical reasoning skills with the proven ability to partner across functionally and effectively build links
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Vendor Management
