The Inventory Specialist at Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies is responsible for conducting regular and systematic counting and verification of physical inventories to establish inventory record accuracy. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for taking daily cycle counts of finished goods, raw materials, cartons, labels, and containers
  • Report, monitor and review daily inventory adjustments and changes
  • Responsible for entering all cycle counts for approval by Plant Manager and or designate
  • Discrepancy investigation and resolution
  • Supervise and coordinate product movement and velocity changes
  • Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory by way of computer-generated reports as well as daily cycle counts and adjustments
  • Handle inventory issues and other special projects as the need arises
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong commitment to statistical accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively across professional disciplines to set schedules and resolve problems (facilitation skills helpful)
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Those who supervise must be able to represent the company and its policies and processes in a fair and impartial manner and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations
  • Fluency in PC based computer systems, Microsoft Office software and ERP systems
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED
  • At least two years of experience in warehouse management, materials handling, or inventory management
  • A progressive career path in the area of inventory or warehouse management

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking an Inventory Specialist in our Kimberton, PA Plant.

The Inventory Specialist provides regular and systematic counting and verification of physical inventories to establish inventory record accuracy and to determine root causes of errors, so as to ensure that record accuracy improves steadily and permanently. Determines, monitors and recommends adjustments to capacity limits to ensure consistency with the master production schedule. Position reports to the Plant Manager (with a dotted line to the Director of Material Planning).
