  • Lead the development of strategic multi-year growth strategies that are customer specific.
  • Develop and execute on a sales plan with strategic objectives to market and sell our company's manufacturing and packaging capabilities.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up communications to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Establish and provide regular, accurate gross & net sales forecast data.
  • Enroll, align and collaborate with all team functions to ensure best in class execution of business plan.
  • Co-lead and coordinate all sales & marketing activities, meetings and industry-specific trade shows and events.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related sales leadership experience, preferred 8-10 years
  • Experience with contract manufacturers for dietary supplement and/or personal care products
  • Experience selling to big box retailers, MLM's, and national brand marketers
  • Solid understanding of personal care and/or nutrition markets and consumer trends
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify both short and long-range growth opportunities
  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen
  • Highly effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with presence; strong sales and presentation skills

Full Job Description

Position Summary:

High-growth, US based contract manufacturer of liquids, gel packs and cosmetics is undergoing a large scale expansion in both capabilities and staff. This position is primarily responsible for developing new business partnerships and delivering volume, profit and annual/long-term objectives and contributing to our growth. Develops cohesive vision, business strategy and action plans. Ability to engage in on-going contact with Customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer with a dotted line to Division President.

LOCATION:

This position can essentially work from any location. Candidates must have the capability to work from remote location(s) and independently, as needed. Travel requirements dependent on business needs and existing / potential customer requirements; primarily domestic travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties, as required. Position will focus on either Personal Care or Liquids/Beverages sales development.

  • Generate significant new sales and business development opportunities with new customers.
  • Ability to cultivate a pipeline of new business opportunities by leveraging network of client contacts and referrals.
  • Lead the development of strategic multi-year growth strategies that are customer specific. Prioritize business objectives and initiatives to deliver against customer portfolio plan objectives.
  • In conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer and Division President, develop and execute on a sales plan with strategic objectives to market and sell our company's manufacturing and packaging capabilities to customers, which may include: MLM's, Mass Market and Big Box Retailers, private label opportunities, consumer brand marketing companies, and large e-commerce consumer brand platforms.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, business directories, Internet Web sites, networks, and other sources.
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up communications to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Establish and provide regular, accurate gross & net sales forecast data.
  • Enroll, align and collaborate with all team functions to ensure best in class execution of business plan.
  • Co-lead and coordinate all sales & marketing activities, meetings and industry-specific trade shows and events.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 3-5, preferred 8-10 years of related sales leadership experience with a track record of creating and delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth within a contract manufacturing environment
  • Experience with contract manufacturers for dietary supplement and/or personal care products required
  • Experience selling to big box retailers, MLM's, and national brand marketers required
  • Solid understanding of personal care and/or nutrition markets and consumer trends
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify both short and long-range growth opportunities based on in-depth understanding of both Dallas One and customer strategies.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting & ERP software; Microsoft Office Products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit; use hands, talk and hear. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May regularly work within office and warehouse environments.
