The Customer Support Representative at Streck is responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales care to customers, both internal and external.   • Contact customers as needed and answer calls from customers to provide support as requested.
  • Handle all error reports as needed and generate paperwork for any necessary returns, replacements, credits, or other account information.
  • Maintain accounts and orders within the system including cancellations and changes.
  • Understand and perform basic customer care responsibilities and tasks (i.e., process credit cards, reprint invoices etc.).
  • Process instrument placements including demonstrations, purchases, and service agreements.
  • Provide limited support to Sales, Distribution, Accounting, and Technical Service departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to three years of customer service experience required.
  • Must be dependable, well organized, able to manage time and responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
  • General knowledge of computers and software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) along with basic keyboarding skills.
  • Must possess good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of college preferred.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment/Travel Demands:

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 0%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and completion of presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with all travel recommendations regarding "safe travel" according to company policies and guidelines, and all federal, state, local, and international orders.

Physical and Mental Demands:
