  • Coordinates with suppliers to correct quality documentation when required.
  • Coordinates supplier source inspection and audits.
  • Manages and tracks calibration of all Karman's certified tooling.
  • Collects data for supplier quality metrics.
  • Tracks and manages Karman's RMAs and warranty returns.
  • Manages Receiving Inspectors and deconflicts receiving inspection workload issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Required

  • Expert in GD&T and dimensional inspection of machined hardware.
  • Prior machine shop experience.
  • Training on ISO 9001/AS9100 is highly desired.
  • AA degree preferred in the management/quality field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

SUMMARY:

Supervises Karman Space & Defense receiving inspection department. Oversees daily activities in Receiving Inspection, including: dimensional inspection of machined hardware, review of documentation and certs, documentation of nonconformances, and generation inspection reports. Reports to the Operations Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must be an expert in GD&T and dimensional inspection of machined hardware.
  • Prior machine shop experience is a must.
