Position Title: Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Wage: $25-$30/hour + Shift Premium

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:30pm-7am Monday-Friday

Machine Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and construction operations to install maintain or modify machinery and auxiliary production equipment
- Diagnose and remedy operating problems; disassemble, inspect, and overhaul injection molding machine components
- Fit and align precision mechanisms drives and bearings, use precision measuring instruments to check machine alignment and performance
- Assist in the layout and installation of molding machines and equipment and participate in major plant installations and expansions
- Perform routine repair projects under general supervision with guidance on critical or extensive repairs

Machine Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
- Related education and or experience equivalent to 2-3 years of trade school training plus 1-3 years of related work experience
- Broad general background in the installation and maintenance of machines and process equipment, familiarity with hydraulics heat and electrical controls
- Ability to diagnose and remedy operating problems, fit and align precision mechanisms, and use precision measuring instruments
- Additional schooling and training may be required
