Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Field of study should be Nursing
  • Less than a year of experience in a similar role
  • Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License
  • Basic Life Support certification (can be acquired within first 30 days after joining)

Job Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you play a crucial role in a healthcare team.   • A thorough knowledge of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.

  • Familiarity with medical terms, health promotion methods, risk reduction techniques, disease prevention and management practices, medications and their potential effects.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling the clear expression of thoughts both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Capacity to identify and communicate any changes in a patient's medical condition to other nurses and healthcare providers.
  • The ability to offer good care to patients of all ages, while honoring each person's unique experiences.
  • Basic computer literacy, encompassing Microsoft Office, information security protocols, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical record maintenance, and email usage.
