Field Service Technician I

Robert Half is seeking a Field Service Technician I for a client located in Claremont, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Field Technician that will be responsible for troubleshooting and managing networking hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment/software. THIS IS NOT A HELPDESK OR DESKTOP ROLE, THIS IS MORE NETWORKING.

Requirements

Day to Day / Must Haves:

· Experience w/ Ticketing Systems (Fresh is TCCS ticketing system- not required, but knowledge would be a PLUS)

· Experience w/ Copper + Fiber - Fiber experience as a whole: Will troubleshoot, maintain, and support fiber

· No troubleshooting w/ computer Linux server not applicable

· Experience w/ patching cables and wall plates

· Great communication/professionalism skills - will be going into dorms, etc. fixing network issues- will need to have bedside manors

· Ability to learn and eager to grow in career

· Exclusively Cisco infrastructure for devices (2850s, 9300s), Access Points (3800s, 9100s
