The Quality Technician at Rhinehart Finishing is responsible for the inspection of customer product and verification of the production process under the direction of the Technical Environmental/Quality Manager.   • Continuous inspection of customer product during all production processes.
  • Hourly inspection of customer product on liquid and powder lines
  • First piece inspection of all customer product
  • Receiving inspection of customer product
  • Final audit of ready to ship material and paperwork
  • Perform all necessary testing and accompanying documentation as required.
  • Water break test on raw parts
  • Film thickness/Adhesion
  • E-Coat Cure
  • Monitor and enforce that all processing documentation is followed and properly filled out.
  • Traveling Process Information Sheet checks at the end and beginning of each shift, also periodic checks to be done daily
  • Ensure all customer product is labeled
  • Complete verification logs daily
  • Maintain all quality areas, including laboratory.

**TITLE: QUALITY TECHNICIAN**
**FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT**
**REPORTS TO**: TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENTAL/QUALITY MANAGER
**PURPOSE and OBJECTIVE:**

- This job description outlines the requirements, reporting relationships, authority, responsibilities, duties, and measurement of performance for the position of the Quality Technician at Rhinehart Finishing. The primary objective of the Quality Technician is inspection of customer product and verification of production process under the direction of the Technical Environmental/Quality Manager.


**BASIC FUNCTIONS:**

- Knowledgeable of the operational requirements of the ISO-9001:2015 Quality System.

- The authority of the Quality Technician shall be under the direction of the Technical Environmental /Quality Manager.
