Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist with warehouse or inventory management experience. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our inventory processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Submitting Vendor Warranties: Accurately process and submit vendor warranties in a timely manner.

- Return Purchase Orders: Handle return purchase orders, ensuring all details are logged and processed effectively.

- Receiving Inventory: Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory, maintaining accurate records.

- Cycle Counting Inventory: Regularly perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.

- Inventory Purchasing: Assist with the purchasing process by maintaining proper inventory levels and communicating with suppliers.

- Warehouse Upkeep: Organize, clean, and maintain the warehouse to ensure an efficient and safe working environment.

- Vendor Communication: Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any inventory or order issues.

- Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (forklift experience preferred).

- Power Tools Experience: Handle power tools as needed for warehouse upkeep (preferred but not required).

- Trailer Pulling: Experience pulling trailers is preferred but not required.

- Assist Warehouse Manager: Support the Warehouse Manager with various tasks and special projects as needed.

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and providing accurate information.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations required.

- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Forklift Operation: Forklift certification or relevant experience is a plus.

- Power Tool Experience: Familiarity with power tools preferred.

- Communication: Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.

- Detail-Oriented: Must be highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Customer Service: Ability to interact professionally and provide excellent customer service.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with inventory cycle counting and receiving procedures.

- Forklift operation and trailer pulling skills.

- Proficiency in handling power tools and warehouse equipment.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

- Must be able to work in various weather conditions within the warehouse environment.

- Ability to work within an inventory database / ERB (EMBS) system.
