- Review exports of database information to Sage for consolidations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for all entities and prepare journal entries as needed.
- Review all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure compliance with agency budget.
- Assist with the annual audit process including preparing audit schedules and providing auditors with financial reporting and documentation of fiscal transactions.
- Use Sage Intacct software for various accounting operations.
- Apply skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Audit Prep, Non-profit Accounting, and Sage Software.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Experience with General Ledger maintenance
- Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries
- Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
- Experience in Audit Preparation
- Knowledge of Non-profit Accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using Sage Software for accounting tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
