  • Investigate workplace incidents and lead root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and maintain incident records.
  • Oversee environmental compliance and lead waste management and spill response efforts.
  • Initiate projects aimed at reducing environmental impact.
  • Promote safety awareness and lead employee training and safety meetings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
  • 5+ years of safety management experience in industrial settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and hazardous materials. Must follow all safety protocols.

Pay: $40 - $50 per hour


Position Purpose:

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees and contractors by managing safety programs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
  • Oversee facility-wide safety management and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Lead the safety team in conducting risk assessments, audits, and safety training.
