Qualifications

Required

  • 3-4 years of experience as production supervisor in the automotive parts production operations
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing setting
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills in team environment
  • Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people
  • Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
  • Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

An automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking a 1st Shift Production Assistant Manager to join their facility near Huntsville, AL.

Ensure the products are meeting company standard quality

Maintain clean and safe workplace

Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements

Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies

Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources

Lead/support plans to improve quality systems and facility structures

Complete regulatory compliance related documentation & procedures

Direct in relation to waste elimination such as plant layout, labor utilization, quality, PPM’s, etc.

Qualifications of 1st Shift Production Assistant Manager

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
